Merchandise Monday – Hallmark Itty Bittys

So, I was shopping this past weekend and needed to go to the Hallmark store for some cards since my family has four December birthdays.  Yes, December is a very expensive month for my family.  Of course, I got distracted walking through the store when I saw the cutest things ever – Itty Bittys!!!!!

I was drawn to the display like a tracker beam was pulling me towards it.  I’m not usually one for small plush items but the Itty Bittys were so stinkin’ cute I couldn’t resist and they are only $6.95.  I started with the Tinkerbell.  But I couldn’t resist the Mickey and Minnie either.  They are only 4″ high so they really are itty bitty which just adds to their cuteness.

Three seemed like a reasonable number.  But the Itty Bittys were “Buy 3, Get One 1 Free” so I definitely had to get one more.  But how to choose?!?!?  Who do I leave behind??  It was like Sophie’s Choice all over again.  There was of course only one course of action, my friends.  And that was to get one of each.  Problem solved.

(I also got a Christmas Minnie but the Hallmark website didn’t have her listed, so no picture because I am too lazy to go upstairs and take a picture myself.  Don’t judge me.)

My curiosity got the better of me when I got home wondering why a few of the princesses were missing.  So, of course, I checked out the Hallmark website.  It turns out that the Itty Bittys online are only “Buy 4, Get 1 Free”.  I’m not sure if my local Hallmark store was just having a great deal or if they goofed, so before you buy them online, check your local store first.  (I’m all about the bargain!!)

And as it turns out, there were a lot of Itty Bittys that were not in my local Hallmark store that I just need to have!!!  I hate having an incomplete set of things.  My hunt begins!

 Happy Shopping!!!!

Disney Announces "Moana," Set For a 2018 Release

Walt Disney Studios has announced their next major animated film will be, Moana (Mo-AH-na).

The main character will be Moana Waialiki, a sea voyaging enthusiast, and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When her family needs her help, she sets off on an epic journey. The film will also include demi-gods and spirits taken from real mythology.

The film will feature CG animation and be directed by John Musker and Ron Clement, best known for Aladdin and The Princess and the Frog.  The film will be a “mythic adventure set around 2000 years ago and across a series of islands in the South Pacific.”  The music for the film will be done by Mark Mancina (The Lion King, Tarzan, Brother Bear).

Looks like another Disney Princess in the making.  My mind can already see the Meet & Greet location in Adventureland.
